The Pennington/Louisiana NORC Biorepository is a searchable archive of clinical data collected in human subjects research at Pennington Biomedical Research Center since 1980. We look forward to sharing our de-identified data for your research needs.
TESTIMONIAL Part 1 - The research infrastructure and resources at PBRC make it possible to collect high quality human metabolic data that would be difficult to collect at many other institutions with limited resources. At UTEP, we do not have access to many of these resources, so the repository allows us to ask important questions that we otherwise would not be able to address. This creates a tremendous resource for the research community.
TESTIMONIAL Part 2 - This has been particularly valuable for my students, who do not have access to these types of research resources. Working with these data gives them an opportunity to engage with research that they may otherwise not experience. NEW STUDIES ADDED. As of Feb 14, 2025 the repository includes data from 13,960 unique subjects (68% women and 55% obesity) enrolled across 204 clinical studies.
